CALL US TODAY FOR AN APPOINTMENT

Did you wake up this morning, feeling sad or with untold anxiety about starting your day? A day fraught in dealing with relational issues - - your child(ren), your significant other, family members or other individuals?

This can be be the day you pick to garner the support you deserve in making some much needed changes in your life. Help is but a phone call away by contacting me or other psychotherapists.

ABOUT US

My approach to therapy is quite simple! The presenting issue(s) one brought to therapy is the impetus in formulating treatment goals, specific to that individual.  Goals that usually include communication skills in setting boundaries with others; learning coping skills in dealing with increased symptoms of sadness or anxiety and/or other debilitating areas.  We periodically review and make revisions to those goals.

My hope as you read this profile is that you desire a change in your life! A change which @ one time was difficult for me, but in retrospect upon taking that first step of contacting a therapist, has resulted in untold-personal rewards!!

My therapeutic journey began with a twenty-six year educational journey in psychology with various training—degrees that include (A.A., B.A., M.S., M.A., Ph.D.), certificates (grief and loss; sexual abuse; physical abuse; child custody; a supervisor through a professional organization and a fellow in another, etc.), lecturer on (parenting issues; women in transition; various types of abuses; multicultural and spiritual issues; etc.) and an intrinsic desire to help others.  This journey also began on a personal level, with a desire for self-awareness of my own family dynamics and a nine year period of personal psychotherapy.

Like you that first phone call for psychotherapy was overwhelming, but upon taking that step, it has so enriched my life.  Thus I offer you similar support through psychotherapy.   Psychotherapy which can be provided, either in-office:  private practice facility, or in-home therapy: within the privacy of your own home, in addition to telehealth.
